Methotrexate ?'s: Methotrexate will usually cause termination of pregnancy if administered from 2-6 weeks of pregnancy. The fertilized egg can pass into the tube, but if delayed, an ectopic pregnancy will remain in the tube. If the fertilized egg attaches to the wall of the uterus, early use of methotrexate will cause termination in most cases.
