An eye doctor.: The best approach would be to see an eye care specialist to determine the cause of this. If it has been going on all of your life, you may have a congenital eye condition known as adie's pupil. If it is something that you acquired later in life, it may be due to prior trauma in one eye or prior cataract surgery with an intraocular lens that may somehow be caught up in a portion of the iris.
