No worries: Closing the eyes tightly in a dark room releases a light appearing pattern. This is normal

I have noticed this last few weeks, on going to bed and turning the light off, if I open my eyes I see a black blob in my left eye vision, but if I blink a few times it will disappear. I do not have this problem in day light?
