See below: Round, rough, uniformly brown, scaly/waxy spots on the skin increase with age; they're called seborrheic keratoses & are benign. If your lesion has mixed colors, irregular shape, indistinct margins, bleeds, or is elevated, by all means it should be examined by pcp or dermatologist. If any doubt about lesion, see doc.
