Follicular Keratosis: Bumps on the legs of young females can be secondary to several reasons. The most common one is skin reaction to "razor" used to shave the legs. Re-use of disposable razors is a common reason. Other common condition that can cause this -- fungal (tinea corporis) or bacterial (folliculitis) infection any rash is best evaluated by a md after seeing and feeling it.
