Find the cause: Fatigue is a very non-specific symptom that can be caused by many things including stress, hormonal imbalance, sleep apnea, over exertion from work, infection, electrolyte imbalances, thyroid/adrenal/pituitary disease or even just daily living can cause fatigue...The best way to treat this is to find the cause and correct what's causing the fatigue (if a cause can be found).

Find out why: The first step, is to search for causes for fatigue. Once this is found, the treatment can commence. Things that can cause fatigue are many. Things such as sleep apnea, thyroid problems and low B12 are only a few of the issues that can play a part in fatigue. These problems have different treatments.

Depends upon cause: Fatigue can be seen with emotional issues, such as depression, but also with sleep disorders, thyroid problems, anemia, chronic neurological diseases such as MS, and a whole host of medical problems. Try to uncover the root cause, as therapy will be most useful if it is employed to treat the direct cause.
