How painful is the ivf procedure for women?

Most say not bad: I can't address that question personally, but can say that 99% of my patients go home within 1 hour of the egg retrieval procedure. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 go back to work the next day. I never need to give more than 1 day of prescription pain medicine.

Not painful at all: If done in a proper facility with anesthesia. Ask other patients in the practice if possible.
