I was told after having a ct that i might have an oncocytoma. what is that exactly? scheduled mri of kidneys for further analysis.

Tumor.: Tumor of the collecting duct cells of the kidney. These are almost always benign but are associated with the more serious renal cell cancer. The MRI is being done to get a better look. You may need a biopsy or excision if they cannot get confident with the results of the mri.
