See below: Did symptoms hit you suddenly? Fever? Feel like you've been run over by a truck a few times. Weak, no energy? May be influenza, which usually resolves in 7-10 days. If not, see doc because bacterial infections can occur on top of flu. Otc theraflu helps with many symptoms. Gargle with warm salt water. Rest. Drink plenty of fluids. Get flu shot this fall (unless allergic to them).
