Strongest white: A solid zirconia crown is the strongest "tooth-colored" crown available today. It also doesn't require quite as much tooth reduction to be placed. The esthetics aren't quite there yet for anterior teeth, but for molars it is excellent. There are also ceramic pressed to zirconia crowns that aren't quite as strong and the outside porcelain can fracture.

High-Tech Material: Zirconia is a type of material used to make a crown. There are many other types, but zirconia is the strongest of the non-metallic materials. It looks nice and is very strong. For back teeth, it works nicely. It's been around for just a few years, so there aren't any long-term studies yet, but it looks very promising. If you don't want metal and still want durability, it seems like a good choice.

Metal alternative : Zirconia is a dental material that is now commonly used instead of gold, alloys, or metal. It is a very strong material and has the advantage of being tooth colored.

Tooth colored: Zirconia is the material from which the crown is made. It is exceptionally strong. It is milled as one piece and is tooth colored. Still making advances in making it look more lifelike and esthetic. Often used for 2nd molars.
