What flouride rinse is safe for sensitive teeth?

All are safe: When used as directed, all Fluoride rinses are safe. If your teeth are sensitive a Fluoride rinse may help reduce the sensitivity. I would use a rinse that is free of alcohol and any acids. Read the labels to be sure. Act anticavity rinse labeled as alcohol free is a good one.

Fluoride: Most Fluoride rinses have a desensitizing effect. If you look at the rinse ingredients, you may be able to find one that also has desensitzing qualities.

Neutral sodium fluor: You should have your dentist check to determine why they are sensitive. Assuming no other causes like leaking fillings, cracked teeth or gum issues, use of products to address the sensitivity is fine. I prefer a neutral sodium Fluoride product rather than acidulated especially for sensitive teeth. You may also need to add sensodyne toothpaste, which has a good track record for reducing sensitivity.
