Many. : Social skill acquisition is learned. This is one of the primary areas of an add pts problem. Usually add pts are 2-4 years behind their chronological age peers in acquiring these skills. This can cause problems as suspected. Eventually, if treated with stimulant medication, these patients catch up with their peers. Usually this occurs around age 25.

Several and severe: Adhd is a problem of disregulation, a child with adhd is impulsive, hyperacive, does not listen, or follow rules well, creating significant impairements not only in educastion but also in social interaction, although medication tend rto curtail some of this symptoms, behavioral intervention is key in helping the child gain the necessary skills to survive.
