Methylphenidate : Preparations (ritalin, concerta, metadate , focalin) occasionally cause secondary nocturnal enuresis. Anecdotally, adding strattera, (atomoxetine) a non-stimulant for adhd that can cause urinary retention in men > 40, sometimes stops bedwetting in kids. Testing a first-voided urine specimen, collected as soon as your son arises, when he's off adh, can tell you if there is a medical problem causing enuresis.

Yes...: Sorry to hear about the continued wetting which can be so frustrating to both child and parent alike. There are behavioral techniques for wetting like bed alarms or awakening 1-2 times during the night to go as well as resticting fluids after 7:00, urinating before bedtime and being responsible to change the sheets. Often there is a family history of wetting even until a teen and it just takes time.

Several: Alternatives include Imipramine, a tricyclic antidepressant given before bed. Been used for decades. Also there are alarm pads that signal if even a drop of urine is passed. Make sure to limit fluids after dinner. Make sure he goes to the bathroom before bed. You might consider getting him up to use the bathroom before you go to bed.
