You need to face your fears until you have a panic attack and then, do not do anything to try and make the anxiety go away. Allow the anxiety to wash over your body and you will eventually set yourself free from the anxiety.

CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) is a fabulous treatment for panic disorder. It involves learning what triggers panic and how to manage panic symptoms. Effective tools are used. Medication can help, as well, if the panic symptoms are so severe that they initially get in the way of participating in cbt.
