Metadate 10mg, child is now talking excessively & more hyper & aggressive?

Talk to your doc: There a couple of things here to consider. If your child truly has adhd, another medication may need to be tried. You might want to consider a non-stimulant, such as strattera (atomoxetine). I have also seen children misdiagnosed as adhd in whom symptoms are exacerbated by stimulants such as metadate because their underlying problem is not adhd.

Metadate: Metadate has been reported to trigger Bipolar Disorder. Stimulants can lead to aggression in some children. Please let the prescribing doctor know right away.
