A member asked:

Does either ritalin (methylphenidate) or nuvigil affect my heart rate when i take these medications? i'm not talking about long-term, i mean the same day i take them.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no.: Ritalin (methylphenidate) can increase the heart rate, Nuvigil less likely to. Your own experience will tell you if/when you measure your pulse.
