Hypoglycemia: Certainly hypoglycemia can cause dizziness. It's always good to check and document blood sugars when symptoms like this arise. However, there are so many things that patients with diabetes could have that might cause dizziness that you need to discuss this with your doctor in order to get a proper evaluation.
