Infection continues: Without treatment a dental fistula will continue to drain pus and bacteria into the body. There is nothing positive that can happen without proper treatment, please see a dentist.

Tooth Loss/Pain: Fistula is an indication of an advance chronic infection. Pours infection, pus into entire circulatory system of the body. Very bad if not treated, sometimes can only be corrected by extacting the causing tooth, sometimes cured with a root canal.
