Usually not: In most cases, inverted nipples are due to anatomic changes in the nipples. If this is something that has been ongoing for a long period of time, it can be surgically corrected. When 1 nipple inverts and/or is associated with a mass, then you need evaluation by your doctor.

Not if chronic: If your nipples have been inverted for a long time (chronic), then it can only be reversed with surgery. Surgery requires cutting the ligaments that are keeping the nipple inverted. You can contact a plastic surgeon for the best result.
