Does happen.: Unfortunately, the process of bladder installations with BCG can be very irritating to the lining of the bladder and urinary tract. Frequency, urgency, burning with urination, and urge incontinence can occur. These can be normal side effects of the treatment, however, if the side effects are severe or intolerable, work with your urologist; dose or frequency adjustments can be made.

BCG: This is not uncommon as the treatment, if it is doing it's job and activating the immune system, is irritating. If it resolves after 24 hrs it is probably ok.
