Assuming an adult in a good state of health the typical dosage of the 5mg/325mg tablets is 1-2 tablets every 6 hours.

Most doses are safe: Percocet comes in the following doses; 2.5/325, 5/325, 7.5/325, 7.5/500, 10/325, 10/650. The 1st # is the milligrams (mg) of oxycodone, the 2nd # is the mg of acetaminophen. The dose depends on her level of pain but an acceptable start is, 5/325 every 4 hours as needed for pain. The dose can be adjusted based on effectiveness of the dose and her pain tolerance.
