Breast cellulitis: This depends on what caused it. I've seen cellulitis from bug bites, skin cysts that became infected, nursing mothers usually with an abscess also, and severly obese women with 'panniculitis' of the breast, and occassionally it just happens in diabetics with poor sugar control. Rarely inflammatory breast cancer mimicks cellulitis.

See doc: Many poss causes-- doc should see to rule out malignant process, and/or underlying abscess. That being said, good hygiene, quitting smoking, and appropriate antibiotics should help. Anti inflammatory medications may also help. Certainly at 44, should be seen by doc and likely have some imaging studies.
