Dr. Toby Chai answered

Urge to urinate: "spasms" of bladder are typically described by patients as a persistent, nagging feeling needing to urinate that is not completely relieved when actually urinating. There are different causes for this symptom including bladder infection, prior bladder surgery, neurologic condition, or non-infectious inflammation of the bladder.
