Carpal tun syndrome : Numbness and tingling in the thumb, index and long finger is do to compression of the median nerve at the wrist called carpal tunnel syndrome. If it is in the ring and little finger only than the nerve involved is the ulnar nerve and the compression is usually at the elbow, called cubical tunnel syndrome.
