Eat Iron Rich Foods: That's the simple answer. However, you also need to retain the blood you have. If your periods are very heavy, that is bleeding clots that look like pieces of liver, or your period is lasting over 7 days, changing over one pad per hour, then your period is too heavy. Otherwise, you can eat foods such as green leafy vegetables, beets, liver (if you don't have gout or high cholesterol) & take iron otc.
