A 47-year-old member asked:
how much ibuprofen should a person take in a day before it becomes dangerous?

Dr. Colton Bradshaw answered
Specializes in Pediatrics
Varies by age/weight: For a normal adult without renal problems, 600mg every 6 hours is standard; however smaller size and kidney problems may require caution. Children are age and weight dependent to a more cautious degree. When unsure consult your pediatrician.

Maybe hormones?: Some headaches as you describe are related to hormones. Some are stress-related. Depending on how long this has been going on, you should consider seeing a neurologist. Good luck!

No: There is no medication that can do this short term. If heavy bleeding is a problem for you, see your doctor to discuss long term management such as birth control pills.

Not much bad: 200mg can help stiffnes and sometims sleep as well. Side effects tend to be dose related. Low risk with 200mg once a day and high risk with 800mg 4 times a day.
