A member asked:

How long can a type 1 diabetic last without insulin injection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends.: If relatively healthy and you have a ready supply of fluids to drink, you can get along but will be progressively losing weight and be hounded by insatiable thirst and frequent urination night and day. If you get sick, however, and you're too weak to get something to drink, you can deteriorate rapidly and die from lack of Insulin and dehydration from the constant urinary losses.
