Can you have similar cramps / contractions to a pregnant woman in labor while on your period?

Yes you can..: Sloughing-off of the lining of your uterus happens regularly during the cycle and contactions of the uterus expell the contents (blood and tissue making up your period). Some people experience very intense contractions/cramps needing medications to help with pain etc..Contractions of labor is same=contractions of the uterus to push baby out etc..
