Can you recommend a gastroenterologist for giardia lamblia?

Depends on location: But a general internist should certainly be able to treat giardiasis.

Location please...: Of course, once giardia exposure is identified and the infection is confirmed, treatment should begin. An added goal is to avoid re-exposure. A gastroenterologist, infectious disease specialist, epidemiologist, and primary care provider all can play roles here in your treatment. To specifically find a GI doctor near you, call your local medical society, hospital, or ask your family doctor.
