See your eye doctor.: Best to see your eye doctor to determine the cause. It could be from an insect bite, or allergic or infectious. The treatment would be determined by the cause. Generally cold or hot compresses depending on the cause, anti-allergic drops and possibly oral anti-allergic medication (antihistamine) for an allergy or insect bite, antibiotic drops without oral antibiotics for an infection.
