You can't: The question is raised many times by patients. Tinnitus or "ringing in the ear" is shared by millions of people. There is no treatment unless one knows a specific diagnosis. For example, impacted wax, middle ear fluid, inner ear abnormalities, otosclerosis may be correctable. But in the presence of normal hearing and no ear disease, there is no acceptable treatment. The symptom may disappear.
