He is normal: He is also 2 years old and under your direction. Do not offer or have the "unhealthy" foods available. He will eat what you serve if you persevere. Toddlers can be stubborn and he may choose not to eat for a few days while he gets hungry and refuses to eat the healthy food that you provide. He can get his "sweet" fix from natural foods like fruits (grapes, etc).
