Immediately: Clonazepam is a rapid acting benzodiazapine. It should work within one hour of ingestion. It is a good muscle relaxant. It can be habit forming with prolonged use.

Quickly: There are 2 major drugs for anxiety, ssri, snri (count as 1) and benzo's. If you have a chronic condition, you may need a chronic drug. If used properly with a low dose ssri, for example, it may be habit forming, u may be dependant but this not addiction. Many have lived better with a long acting benzo as part of a regimen. Anxiety may partly due to altered or dec. Benzo receptors.
