Topical steroids...: Probably the easiest thing to do is to get some prescription steroid to help with the inflammation and itching. There are other nonsteroidal topicals as well, but u will likely get most rapid relief with a potent steroid. If psoriasis is severe, oral or injectable meds maybe needed. Keep the areas moist with skin emollient until seen by doc. Good luck.

PSORIASIS SCRACHING: You can use a steroid cream at the site which can be prescribed by your doctor or derdatologist.You can take a non sedating antihistamine that may help as well.But you need to use local cream to improve the rash and stop the itch urge, you can use this along with rocalterol or dovonex (calcipotriene) which are wid analogues.
