Neuroleptics : Neuroleptic is another term for an antipsychotic, these medications can be used to reduce confusion, delusions, hallucinations, and psychomotor agitation in psychotic patients. neuroleptics also are used as sedatives and tranquilizers, for their antiemetic properties, to control hiccups, and in the treatment of drug-induced psychosis.
