Multiple treatments: If you have severe anemia (hgb 6.0) you would benefit from Lupron (leuprolide) (gnrh agonist) which would put you into temporary menopause. This helps stop bleeding, shrinks the size of your fibroids, and makes it easier to take the next step which could be embolization therapy (block blood supply), myomectomy (removal laparoscopically or open), or hysterectomy. Talk to your gyn for what's best for you.
