Erosion: Stomach acid is a strong chemical which will erode enamel and can lead to tooth loss. Patients who suffer from bulimia often show up to the dentist with severe chemical erosion, and sometimes either require full dental rehab or often lose teeth.

Erode: Teeth will get eroded by stomach acid. In fact, bulimic patients have eroded areas on their exposed teeth, and health areas that a their tongue covers during vomiting.
