Cause balance loss: There are many reasons you can lose your balance or equilibrium. These include vision loss, nerve damage in legs, muscle weakness, arthritis, spinal cord problems, medication side effects, brain disorders, and inner ear problems.

Balance: Medications can cause balance problems, intracerebral problems may cause balance problems. Infections and metabolic issues can also cause these symptoms. There are certain neurological diseases that are associated with balance problems (such as parkinson's). The cerebellar portion of the brain is responsible for control of coordination.
