U need an ultrasound: To make sure the pg is in the uterus and you do not have an ectopic pg and also to r/o an ovarian cyst, it is normal to have a small cyst on one ovary which is the corpus luteum of pg that provides hormone support until heh placenta takes over and sometimes smaller cysts can have pain, if you do have a cyst it will need to be monitored to make sure it does not grow.
