Ovarian cyst: An occasional cyst is normal in all women. However persistent cysts do need an evaluation. If the cyst is hormonally active, it may throw off your cycles a bit and may prevent pregnancy. Once they resolve (usually within 1-2 months) your fertility should be restored. If not hormonally active, you may still ovulate.
