Why can't i visit my husband at the hospital sometimes?

Infection control: Every hospital now struggles with "open visiting hours" as other patient's in the facility need their rest also. Moreover, in special care units like ccu & ICU the nursing and support staff need to acutely monitor the patient's without constant intrusion. Infections, like mrsa, can be spread by unknowing viistors, and staff. A lack of handwashing is a major culprit in transmission.
