Many reasons: There are many possible reasons for difficulty making decisions. One of the most common is depression. Also some people have never been supported from a young age in making decisions of their own -- this is a gradual developmental process in humans. You could see a psychologist or other therapist to explore what's happening in your own case. If needed, referral to a psychiatrist as well.
