It depends: It depends on when the hypothyroidism developed and on its severity. Mild hypothyroidism later in pregnancy is unlikely to cause problems. If the hypothyroidism was deep and early, then there might be some effects on the baby, they are unlikely to be major though. The data on this point is insufficient to giver a complete answer.
