A member asked:

Would a top rheumatologist be able to determine if you had raynauds if the process happened i n front of him and wiould raynauds be considered primsry if nail capillaries remained normal since checking at checkups last two years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Raynaud's can be diagnosed by history alone, it is not necessary for the rheumatologist to see the color change in person. If nail capillaries have remained normal for 2 years then it is likely to be primary but it is possible for rheumatic conditions to develop over time. I would recommend monitoring to ensure changes do not occur.
