Whooping cough vacci: You should be fine having received the vaccine only two years ago. Tetanus shots are recommended every 10 years and currently contain the whooping cough vaccine. Vaccination booster shot recommended in people over 65 years old.Your husband can get the vaccine with his next tetanus booster.Getting vaccinated after your pregnancy may be a good idea for your husband given the presence of a newborn.

DtaP booster: Thank you for your very relevant and important question. You do not need a booster; you will be covered for another 8 years and your baby will be safe when born.Your husband and other family members who your baby will be frequently exposed to should receive the booster if they haven't had the vaccine in the last 10 years. As well as the influenza vaccine by sept or oct. Baby will need it at 6 mos.

See below: Your immunity from the vaccine 2 years ago should still be strong. Since your husband probably has not had whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine since childhood, he can get a tdap at any time since no live virus is involved. Tdap boosters are recommended every 10 years. [see following site: http://www.Cdc.Gov/vaccines/schedules/downloads/adult/adult-schedule-easy-read.Pdf.
