Yes it is : Pertussis vaccine is now given as tdap vaccine in late second trimester or third trimester. It gives protection to the mother as well as limited protection to the baby.

Yes: Tdap vaccination (includes acellular pertussis vaccine) is highly recommended for pregnant women who have not had it. Best administered after 20 weeks' gestation to optimize antibody transfer to fetus & protection after birth.
