What can i do about a swollen lymph node in my neck?

Viral? strep? : Important to differentiate as to whether the node is painful or not. How large is the node? How long has it been present for? Which nodes are we taking about? Unilateral or bilateral? Having your doctor take a feel of the node and conducting a directed history can be most helpful.
