A member asked:

How long can a 95 year old live for if he also has heart disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: It depends on the type of heart disease that the person has. Certainly, a 95 year old has lived longer than the statistical average. There are mild heart diseases such as an irregular heart beat which would not have a dramatic effect on lifespan. There are serious valve or muscle problems which could cause death within the year.
