what could be the cause of stomach aches in the morning?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Vance Harris
36 years experience Family Medicine
Gastritis: Morning nausea or stomach pain can often times be a sign of gastritis or irritation of the stomach. There is no food to buffer the acid in the stomach during the night. It could also be peptic ulcer disease so you should see your dr. As certain medications will help with the symptoms.
