Lots of effort: To get "abs" you will need to make some real changes. To get that look you need to drop your body fat level down to about 5-8 % from the usual 20 and do the type of ab workout that will tone them up. If you take your present weight & calculate a 12-15% weight loss through low carb dieting, you can see the type of effort you must make.If you are relatively fit, you may not need to loose so much.
